WHO’S THAT GIRL?

-

When the Singapore Art Museum (SAM) announced that this year’s Singapore Biennale, which runs till 19 March 2023, would be named Natasha, it signalled its intent on an art showcase unlike any other—one that would in fact, place human connection and engagement at the forefront of its purpose. Featuring the works of over 60 local and international artists across venues that span the nation (including its southern islands like Sentosa, St John’s and Lazarus), the biennale contemplates “the role and place of art in a post-pandemic world”, as Eugene Tan, Director of SAM says.
