SIMPLY DOTTY
To celebrate its first anniversary this month, Hong Kong’s M+ museum has organised the “Yayoi Kusama: 1945 to Now” exhibition, which features over 200 works (gathered from an international list of museums and private collections) including three brand new ones. It’s Asia’s largest retrospective of the 93-year-old Japanese art icon outside Japan, and it explores her preoccupation with life, death and interconnectedness—promising a new interpretative approach to Kusama’s seven-decades long career. The exhibition will run from 12 November to 14 May 2023. Visit mplus.org.hk for more information.
