RAFFLES HOTEL SINGAPORE
Evoking timeless charm and luxurious elegance, Raffles Hotel is easily one of the most prestigious establishments here.
After an extensive two-year revamp, the hotel reopened its doors on Aug 1 this year, with its colonial charm still very much intact. So, when it comes to the most important day of your life, look to the storied establishment’s venues for a romantic celebration like no other.
The sweeping Jubilee Ballroom (formerly Jubilee Hall theatre) sets the scene for a lavish lunch or dinner with glittering chandeliers, gold Venetian light fixtures, and custom upholstered wall panels inspired by Singapore’s heritage.
Just as splendid is Palm Ballroom, which derives its name from the Traveller’s Palm, a plant that features extensively in the hotel’s history. The ballroom’s warm hues, murals, and state-of-the-art audio-visual technology make for beautiful, classic celebrations.
Both ballrooms have adjoining airconditioned foyers.
For a truly Rafflesian experience, the Casuarina Suite, a cushy space with champagne-gold drapery and pastel wall panels, is ideal for an intimate party. Your other options: East India Room and Palm Garden, featuring an ornate 6m-tall cast iron fountain from the 1890s that is the perfect backdrop for a solemnisation ceremony. There’s also the spacious Lawn if you’re inclined to pledge your vows in a tranquil outdoor setting.
A wedding lunch starts at $168.80++ per person. A weekday dinner starts at $178.80++ per person, and a weekend dinner starts at $188.80++ per person. Minimum guest attendance applies. Prices are applicable for 2019 only and
