An album of wonderful memories and pictures with the snow-covered landscape of
Hokkaido as the spectacular backdrop.
For their wedding portraits, Alexys Tjiha and Alex Leong created wonderful memories against Hokkaido’s beautiful backdrops.
Hokkaido was where we first met, so we never considered shooting our portraits anywhere else. It meant a lot for us to go back there and in winter, too.
We were looking for Japan-based photographers as we felt they would be more familiar with where to shoot, and it would help us save money we would have had to spend on flights and accommodation.
Eve Law of One Three One Four, which books destination wedding photographers, worked out the logistics, and showed us the portfolios of different photographers. She also applied for a permit to shoot at the Yoichi Distillery, which produces whisky and other spirits.
