Five brides-to-be get a glamorous makeover from our team of hair and makeup experts.

easy elegance

Theme “A romantic garden wedding with a colour palette of white or champagne, and soft pastel touches. No strong colours or anything too rustic,” says Estee.

Makeup Dewy foundation sets the tone for sheer, pearlescent pink eyelids and voluminous lashes that make her eyes pop in the prettiest way, courtesy of makeup artist Rina. To finish, coral kissers with just a hint of shine.

Hair Estee’s straight hair is worked into big waves by hairstylist Zeevy, and it makes her look effortlessly elegant. A white hairband adds a demure touch.

boho fabulous

Theme “A rustic garden style. My wedding will be at The Andaz Singapore’s Glasshouse,” says Lynette.

Makeup Boho with a bit more polish: smoky eyes with turquoise and a swipe of silver on the lower lids. Rina fills her brows in with eyeshadow powder for softer definition. To keep things romantic: rose-hued lippie.

Hair Zeevy gives Lynette tousled waves, which are swept into a romantic ponytail that shows off her graceful neck and shoulders, with a wee bit more volume at the crown.

casual chic

Theme “A cosy garden affair. I’d love to wear a ballgown (every little girl’s dream!) for the morning; something soft and flowy. Or a mermaid dress with a sweetheart neckline,” says Ivy.

Makeup “Eyeliner – and lots of it!” says makeup artist Beno. He uses a heavier stroke across her eyes for more definition, shape, length, and a hint of drama. And fuchsia on the lips for a look-at-me effect.

Hair “A fuss-free look, with hair swept off the face and into a chic, versatile ponytail, always works for an outdoorsy wedding,” says hairstylist Den. Ivy’s rose gold locks were secured at the nape and teased into lovely cascading curls.

"NOT TOO GIRLIE AT ALL - I FEEL SO EMPOWERED!"

glowy glamour

Theme “My fiance and I fell in love with the signature stairway and strong colonial elegance of the Intercontinental Singapore. He is a regular in the army, so we’re having a military march-in. The vibe will be royal and grand, with bold colours like maroon and white or champagne. I’m hoping to look elegant and classy,” says Keely.

Makeup “Luminous skin looks exquisite in pictures,” says Beno. Start with a base of translucent powder, and then add soft, shimmery highlighter on the cheekbones, brow bones and nose bridge. Next, polished brows, plus pearly and bronze eyeshadow blended together, and a thin stroke of liner.

Hair “Nothing says old-world glamour like an updo,” says Den. To complete the look: a deep side part and tendrils that accentuate her cheekbones.

"I LOOK SO ELEGANT AND CLASSY. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I HAD IN MIND FOR MY BIG DAY."

"I WANT TO LOOK LIKE A PRINCESS ON MY WEDDING DAY. I DON'T USUALLY WEAR MAKEUP, SO THIS IS A REFRESHING CHANGE."

sweet shi ne

Theme “My celebration will be held at the JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach’s ballroom. I’m thinking of a romantic party with dusty blue tones as my fiance proposed to me underwater while we were on a diving trip,” says Allison. Makeup Rose eyeshadow and a peach pout may be foolproof bridal signatures, but Beno takes it up a notch with rose gold in the prettiest shimmer for peepers that sparkle. A sheer, natural-looking blush and peach lips help warm up her skin tone and give her a fresh, pretty glow.

Hair “Loose, soft waves are perfect for embodying the mood of an intimate soiree, while adding volume,” says Den.
