If you’re up for some hardcore facial massage, the Bian Stone Aqua Facial ($267.50 for 90min) might be for you. After a thorough cleansing and extraction, the therapist used a pen-shaped Bian stone with a rounded tip to massage my face vigorously – expect some discomfort from the intensive strokes. If you’re unfamiliar with the Bian stone, it contains over 30 trace elements and reportedly mimics an infrared warming effect when rubbed on skin. It’s said to help get rid of excess water and toxins from skin, as well as contour the face.
