NO MORE DRY HAIR

-

I thought that after getting a short bob recently, I’d nally be rid of the dryness that tends to plague longer lengths. But I was wrong. So, my end- of-the-year goal is to banish dry hair. How? After my usual shampoo and conditioner, I take a few drops of Amazon Beauty Rahua Elixir ($297.50) and warm it between my palms before smoothing it on damp hair. Rahua or ungurahua oil comes from a nut found only in the Amazonian rainforest in South America, and is traditionally used to treat scalp conditions like dandruff as well as make hair shinier. Next, I scrunch a ve- cent- coin-sized amount of the creamy, cinnamon-scented Amazon Beauty Rahua Finishing Treatment ($76.50) through my hair. This leave- in treatment – also a heat protectant and a styling product – gives my hairdo a bit of shape. When used with the Rahua Elixir, it makes my hair look so good and extremely healthy. – Amanda Lai, beauty writer
