BRAVE NEW LIFE

Juggling the demands of work and home has always been a struggle for me as a single parent to a 10-year-old and a toddler. For a while now, I’ve been toying with the idea of working from home so I can spend more time with my kids. Reading Rise of the Digital Nomad in your December issue nally gave me the courage to leave my job and strike out on my own as a freelance designer. I’m so much happier for having done so – it’s allowed me so much more control over my life.
