Cartier halves the weight, width and price of its Juste un Clou.

Sometimes, skinnies, when done right, can be more inclusive than offensive. Cartier thinks so, too, when it rethought its Juste un Clou range (which was inspired by the nail). Its bangle was thick and heavy, and its hinge mechanism… well, without an extra pair of hands, it made the bangle really hard to put on and remove. The new: thinner than the original by a third, which means no more hinges, making it that much easier to slip on and off, and stack. The thinness applies to the range’s rings, too. But the best news is that the update comes with downsized prices – by as much as half. From $1,550 (previously $3,150) for a pink or yellow gold ring to $4,250 (previously $9,350) for a pink or yellow gold bracelet.
