DRINK CANNED CRAFT BEERS

You’re used to seeing craft beers on tap or in bottles with quirky labels. But canned craft beers are now a thing – and it’s not just for the obvious environmental reasons.

The can trend is hopping along: “Cans are more easily recycled,” according to Daniel Goh, coowner of Smith Street Taps (Singapore’s fi rst craft beer joint in a hawker centre). “They’re also a lot easier and safer to pack, store and transport. Most importantly, though, is that cans totally block out UV light that can damage beer, and ensure that the beer stays fresher.” Can, lah. 1.
