The best skincare and makeup drops that got us excited.

1. Sigi Skin Idyllic Fields Day-Time Moisturiser, $78

The Singapore vegan beauty brand’s first moisturiser is 100 per cent waterless and silicone-free, and helps hydrate, repair, strengthen and protect even sensitised skin. It’s also said to have antifungal and antibacterial properties.

2. Maison Christian Dior Eden Roc Candle, $130

The maison pays tribute to the legendary Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the French Riviera. Besides wearing the perfume (from $175), the candle is a wonderful way to experience the scent’s warm, sea-salty, sunfilled, citrus-floral notes. At the Maison Christian Dior boutique at Ion Orchard.

3. Hermes Rose Hermes Silky Blush, $115; refill, $63

What I’m excited about in the brand’s new Rose Hermes collection of cheek and lip products are the blushers, which come in eight shades, from fresh to electric pink. My fave: Rose Poivre, an Asia-exclusive soft pink that gives my skin some much-needed colour.

4. Trilogy Vitamin C Booster Treatment, $75

The two-week intensive brightening treatment helps even out skin tone, refine skin texture, reduce the look of dark spots, renew skin and boost radiance. Popping the cap releases the 6 per cent vitamin C powder into the bottle, which contains plant-derived hyaluronic acid, daisy extract and mandarin and rosehip seed oils. Use a few drops, twice a day. At Beaute By Nature.

5. Chantecaille Butterfly Eye Quartet, $123

Inspired by butterflies, this eye palette includes a rose-gold satin, a pearly pink-green-gold, a peach shimmer, and a taupe satin. The brand will donate 5 per cent of proceeds from its Spring 2021 collection to the Butterfly & Insect Group of the Nature Society Singapore, to help protect our national butterfly, the Common Rose.

6. The Resort Collection by Rooki x Aquajellie, $21 each; $125 for all seven shades

The limited edition collab between the two local clean beauty brands plays out in seven pastel peeloff nail polishes. What I love: They’re odourless and contain no harsh chemicals, which means they’re pregnancy-safe. The formula also has hyaluronic acid so your nails don’t dry out. At rookibeauty.co.

7. Caudalie Vinoclean range, $34 each

Cleansers that are good for your skin and the planet get my vote. Take your pick from Micellar Cleansing Water, Cleansing Almond Milk, Makeup Removing Cleansing Oil, and Instant Foaming Cleanser. The formula consists of 97-100 per cent natural-origin ingredients, and the bottles are made from 100 per cent recycled plastic – clean on the inside and outside. At Sephora.
