Time to Celebrate!
I got into a festive mood earlier than usual this year, and with good reason! Like most people, I feel this year has really just been an extension of the upheavals of 2020, and I know that we are all already over 2021.
I’m also really excited by the prospect of leisure travel. We have a first-person account of experiencing Berlin (page 112), and now, with so many VTL options, we also want to make sure your #ootds are updated with the help of our fashion team (page 12).
Another occasion worth celebrating is Her World being the first magazine cover for my current favourite content creator Annette Lee. When she came to my attention six months ago, it was because of a hilarious spelling bee video she did with Benjamin Kheng and Hirzi Zulkiflie. At that time, she had maybe 40K IG followers, but she’s more than doubled her following since, and it’s easy to see why. Annette’s content and personas are not only incredibly funny, but completely relatable too. And we can vouch from our interview with her (page 28) that her relatability extends to her in real life too.
