OYSTER PERPETUAL DAY-DATE 40

This timepiece was the first calendar wristwatch to indicate – in addition to the date – the day of the week spelt out in full in a window on the dial. It’s now available in platinum, with a fluted bezel in the same material. The watch’s aesthetic and technical feat required many years of research, as platinum is one of the hardest metals to work with.
