Things can get messy when they discover the joy of creating art and mixing things. But this is forgivable when you see how much fun they’re having. Give your child a dedicated space to do this, such as a table with a whiteboard surface or an entire chalkboard wall for channelling all that creative energy. An easel with a pad of butcher paper also works well if you’d like to keep the drawings.
