What’s your role at Camp Asia, and how does a typical day look?

As Education Manager, my priority is the welfare and happiness of all the kids who attend Camp Asia. This is a very wide remit and involves interacting with all stakeholders within the Camp Asia experience. For instance, I liaise closely with Camp Leaders, Teaching Assistants (TAs) and parents to ensure an engaging and safe camp for all who attend. This involves visiting all activities throughout the day – I often exceed 12,000 steps a day in this role! Prevention of any student issues is key to the role, and a genuine interest in kids’ wellbeing is a fantastic place to start.

Why are these camps great for kids?

Camp Asia camps are curated by trained professionals who are experts in their area of knowledge. All staff genuinely care for the wellbeing of all students and a rigorous attention to detail pervades all camps. Each group has both a teacher and an allocated TA, and a wider pastoral support network to ensure every child progresses when at camp. Alongside the obvious skills specific to each camp, participants make new friends and meet old ones. Camp Asia is a fantastic place for kids to be during the holidays, and my own daughter is a huge fan too!
