Canadian International School

-

Prithvi Narayan, Grade 12, Singaporean

I’ve been at CIS for five years, since Grade 7. I love the international experience at CIS. I believe that being able to know so much about the world by meeting people from various countries and cultures has helped me improve as a global citizen.

Furthermore, the CIS facilities are exceptional! The library is one of my favourite places to study; it provides fantastic resources to learn and conduct research and is extremely beautiful. The impressive facilities at the gymnasium allow our “Huskies” to excel in various sports.

I aspire to study medicine and become a neurology specialist. As an aspiring physician, my favourite subject is Biology. It gives me insight into how the myriad body systems work together to keep us functioning and also helps me understand the fascinating, multifaceted elements of our environment and its inhabitants. CIS has allowed me to hone my curiosity and develop a deep-rooted desire to solve pressing neurological and scientific issues crippling our society today.

A major highlight of school for me was my Grade 9 excursion to Sedili Besar, Malaysia. It allowed me to experience life away from the bustle of the city while in the company of my best friends. It’s a CIS memory that I hold very close to my heart.
