Chatsworth International School
Bruno Griguoli, Year 12, Dutch
I’ve been in Chatsworth for around four years – I moved to The Netherlands after my second year and came back here when I returned to Singapore.
I love Chatsworth’s small community size. I can connect with teachers and students on a more personal level, which allows me to form stronger relationships, learn about different cultures and feel comfortable around the people of the Chatsworth community.
Music is my favourite subject and a passion of mine. It’s a way for me to express myself and explore the sociocultural elements of the music I enjoy. I play the piano and guitar and sing, and I’m grateful to extend it into my IBDP experience.
A highlight for me was the MYP Personal Project; I pursued my passion for design and architecture by designing my dream home. The project taught me how to materialise my creative vision through an academic framework while strengthening my architectural and presentation skills.
When I graduate, I want to study either business administration or a creative field such as the arts, architecture or design. After that (although this might change!), I want to start my own business where I turn my creativity into products and services that are innovative and distinctive – perhaps one where I apply my abstract artistic style to an instantly recognisable range of design products that inspire creativity and freedom.
