Adhip Ruchi Milind Pandit, Grade 10, British

I’ve been at ISS since Grade 7. I like how open the teachers are; they’re willing to give you time to genuinely help with your issues and they always support your needs.

My favourite subjects are Individuals & Societies, Maths and English. I enjoy I&S because it’s my strong suit. I’m able to provide in-depth knowledge and justified answers after assessing the validity of my sources. Maths has been a tough subject for me. I never liked it, but since Mr Larkins taught me last year, I’ve improved a lot. With Mr Gill this year, I got my first IB score 8. So it’s been a great learning experience. I enjoy English as it’s an interesting subject. It allows me to interpret meaning and justify my thinking with evidence from the source. I’m also taught how to best express my feelings and beliefs through words.

A great part of my ISS experience was hosting a friend’s birthday party at the Paterson office in

November of 2018. The four of us had planned to go to a mall for his birthday but we ended up having a blast at the office and didn’t leave until 7pm.

I’m uncertain of the exact degree I want. It’s likely that I will venture into the world of business or economics, and then I’ll get an MBA. Then, depending on how I feel, I might get a PhD in business before starting work. This is a very rough plan. My choices change every few months, although my dream would be to play football, which I’m working on!
