I’ve experienced five years of being a part of the wonderful SMMIS community since joining in 2017. I’m currently finishing my twoyear IGCSE course.

The flexibility of the school is great! When I had to choose my subjects for IGCSE, I was offered diverse subject choices that allowed me to follow the path I wanted. For example, I chose to study History instead of Art, and Geography instead of Music or Jewish Education, while my classmates felt free to choose their own pathways.

My favourite subject is History, since I really enjoy diving deep into the past of certain countries, debating controversial topics and discussing my points of view on different matters. The various sports facilities here, like the swimming pool, basketball court and soccer pitch, help me stay healthy and athletic.

The major highlight of this year has been meeting and getting to know the new teachers. They’re kind, friendly, willing to help and they definitely give me more confidence in my preparations for this year’s IGCSE exams.

I haven’t yet decided what I want to do when I graduate, but I’m certain that as I progress through my studies, SMMIS will give me more self-assurance and determination for my future.
