I joined XCL World Academy (XWA) in January 2016 and I’m currently studying the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

The academic pursuits of XWA students are cultivated through a holistic approach to learning. This helps me prepare for the future, find my place and define my contribution within it.

The small class sizes allow our teachers to ensure that we thoroughly understand the content and are able to apply the new knowledge to real life. The holistic approach to learning is based on students’ individual preferences and passions, and gives us the confidence to navigate the future and find our place in it.

I very much enjoy subjects that allow me to develop data-driven skills, inquire and be curious. As part of the IB Diploma, I’m studying Psychology, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Language and Literature, and Spanish.

I’ve enjoyed undertaking a leadership position in the Student Council for four consecutive years – we’ve led the school community in several community service programmes in Singapore and the Asia Pacific.

The community at XWA is truly international. I’ve been exposed to an entire world of cultures filled with students who pursue excellence, grow by learning and lead through innovation. The school ensures that every student has the opportunity to find their passion, and it inspires them to shine.

I’m planning to pursue a pre-med track at a US University when I graduate in 2023. The school has been very supportive of my career aspirations through a comprehensive University and Career Guidance Programme.
