I’m so envious of paw-rents living overseas who get to vacation in exotic locations with their furkids. I’m a wine aficionado, so I really wish I could go on the Gourmet Pawprints Doggy Winery Tour with my furry princess, Belle. I hope to see more unique or interesting dog-friendly hangouts or activities in Singapore soon.

Agnes Lim The Pet Trends feature is so cute and creative! How on earth did you get a Chihuahua to lie on her back with cucumber slices over her eyes? I’m so inspired to take more more Insta-worthy photos of my Frenchie Hedwig (yes, I got his name from HarryPotter), but I don’t even know where to start. My home isn’t very bright, so my pics always turn out dark and grainy. Perhaps, pets can consider sharing pet photography tips? Jasper Teo

I’m a huge fan of Channel 5’s Tanglin, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that Nat Ho, Darryl Yong and Kayly Loh were featured in your holiday issue. It’s so heartwarming to know that the cast members are such close friends, even off-screen. Darryl’s Tofu and Kayly’s Boy Boy are so adorable, and it was so nice to see the two dogs in the same photo with the cat!

It’s always shocking to know that there are people out there who have no qualms ditching their elderly furkids after spending years with them. After reading Young at Heart, my faith in the human race has been restored. It’s so touching to know that there are folks who would adopt furkids in the final years of their lives. I have a 12-year-old Doxie, and though she may experience some difficulty with mobility, she’s always so patient and loving around my kids. I gave her a hug after reading this story.

Like Gillian in Paw-rent Diary, year after year, my parents would firmly turn down my request to have a pup of my own own. However, things took a turn last year, when my dad’s friend adopted a Westie. When we visited his friend’s house, the affectionate pooch kept jumping onto my dad’s lap. The adorable encounter changed my father’s mind, and we adopted a Maltese a few months later. My pup, Ash, has brought so much joy to my family that I can’t imagine how we managed to refrain from having a dog for so many years. Chang Yee Liang
