1. TropiClean Deep Cleaning Deodorizing Wipes for Dogs

from gooddogpeople.com

Price: $22.50 for 100 pieces

Features: Formulated with a mild coconut cleanser, the product claims to remove dirt, drool and pollen while also masking odour. Each wipe is soaked with an all-natural, soap-free formula that doesn't affect flea treatments. It also contains soothing aloe vera to soothe and hydrate the skin.

Verdict: Great for dry and itchy skin, the wipes were thin, moist and silky smooth to the touch. Effective in reducing funky smells, the pleasant flowery scent was obvious but not overpowering or sickly sweet. Upon application, Kori’s fur felt damp and smelt clean. However, the scent dissipated within an hour. Encased in a resealable but hefty pack, the flip lid helped retain fragrance and dewiness. Score:

2. AbsorbPlus Charcoal Hypoallergenic Pet Wipes Baby Powder Scented

from gooddogpeople.com

Price: $9.90 for 80 pieces

Features: Alcohol- and parabenfree, each sheet is pH-balanced and dermatologically tested. The wipes are hypoallergenic and suit furkids with sensitive skins and noses. The resealable packaging comes with a simple flip lid to retain moisture and freshness. Verdict: Exuding a fairly strong, powdery smell, the fibrous wipes effortlessly picked up small particles on Bobby's short coat. However, these detoxifying wipes were black in colour, making it harder to determine whether dirt had been removed. You get more bang for your buck with this hefty pack of 80 thick wipes. Plus, it left our pup subtly scented.

Features: These sweet-smelling wipes boast wholesome ingredients like green tea leaf extract, omega-6 fatty acids, and other natural emollients. Infused with antioxidants, the product promises to moisturise the skin and relieve shedding and dander between baths.

Verdict: Delivering a surprisingly thorough cleanse, the thick and sufficiently moist wipes contain Hawaiian awapuhi extract, which help condition and cleanse Fido’s coat and skin. The soap-free formula worked wonders on Bobby’s short fur, leaving it soft and shiny. Great for daily use and cleaning of the paws, snout and body.

4. Petkin Petwipes for Pet

from perromart.com

Price: $12.50 for 30 pieces

Features: Made from a natural formula comprising herbal extract, vitamins A and E, and oatmeal, this product is gentle on sensitive skin. Featuring the smallest sheets of the lot, these wipes are suited for tiny breeds and hard-to-reach areas like the ears and snout.

Verdict: Though relatively thin, it removed crusty poop flakes from Kori’s bum with just one swipe. Our curious resident pup couldn’t help repeatedly smelling his tushie after he’d been wiped. The opening was a bit too small to remove the wipes and stuff the protruding ones back in.

Score:

5. Espree Rainforest Aloe Vera Wipes

from polypet.com

Price: $21.30 for 50 pieces

Features: Designed to hydrate and soothe the skin, this product is formulated with naturally grown aloe vera and exudes an aromatic rainforest scent. The wipes have perforated lines for easy tearing, and are safe to use with topical flea treatments. Verdict: At first whiff (straight from the packaging), the scent was a tad strong and artificial. Each sheet had a fairly thick and synthetic consistency. Upon application, the smell instantly dissipated, leaving behind a slightly oily residue.
