AROUND THE WORLD
These pups might just be as fur-mous as their celebrity paw-rents.
HUGH JACKMAN
Hugh Jackman may be known as Wolverine or The Greatest Showman to his fans, but to his Frenchie Dali and Poodle-Terrier cross Allegra, he’s just good ’ol Dad. Each time the star returns to New York from his native Australia, he snaps pics with his furkids and captions them with sentimental words like “REUNITED” or “Home”. He’s also often captured by the paparazzi walking Dali and Allegra. The pampered pooches have an enviable winter wardrobe of polar-fleece jackets, coats and snow booties. Lucky dogs indeed.
ED SHEERAN
Everybody’s favourite ginger is a bonafide cat man. Ed Sheeran won two Grammy awards last month, but he skipped the swanky awards ceremony in New York City in favour of celebrating at home with his Scottish Fold, Calippo. “Woke up to the news I won two Grammys last night. Thank you! This little fluff-ball is doing a bit of a celebratory dance, lots of love to everyone xx,” he wrote on Instagram the day after the awards, next to a pic of Calippo sprawled contentedly on his back. Ed also has a ginger cat named Dorito. In 2014, he rescued a month-old kitten, named him Graham, and started a Twitter account for the furry fella. He’s also best pals with fellow cat lover, Taylor Swift, and can be seen on Instagram canoodling with her kitties on occasion.
SONG HYE KYO
The marriage of Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki was undeniably the biggest
celebrity wedding of 2017. But before the Descendants of the Sun couple even started dating, the popular actress was already openly sharing her love for someone else: Boon-hong (‘pink’ in Korean), her Bichon Frise. The fluffy, white pooch has appeared in Song Hye Kyo’s Instagram feed on many occasions—sometimes solo and sometimes in her paw-rent’s arms. Although the pup has yet to appear in a family portrait with both Songs, we have no doubt that the little princess remains very much part of the Song household.
KYLIE JENNER
Kylie recently announced the birth of her baby girl—a secret she kept from her fans and followers throughout her pregnancy—but before the reality TV star ever become a mum, she already had a big brood, albeit covered with fur. Her fur-mily includes Italian Greyhounds Norman and Bambi, and their daughters Harlie and Rosie; Ernie the Long-haired Dachshund; and Penny, a white and brown short-haired pup. While the Kardashians and Jenners have a long list of pets, not all have had happy ever afters—one got killed by a coyote and others were given away. Thankfully, Kylie’s six pooches continue to appear regularly on the Instagram account she created for Norman and Bambi (@normieandbambijenner). They seem to be in good hands—for now.
