In 1973, David and Robert Ng shared that passion for pets and founded their dream of opening Singapore’s first shop to offer everything a pet could need. Driving by the passion, creativity, and innovation, they embarked on a journey that has led to “Pet Lovers Centre” turning into the household brand name you see all over Singapore today.
Today, spearheaded by the second generation, the Ng family continues building on the tradition and dream. As a forward-thinking industry leader always looking to innovate and meet customer demands in this world of change.

The PLC Group is headquartered in Singapore. As of now, Pet Lovers Centre has 143 stores in Singapore, Malaysia, Bangkok, Vietnam, and Philippines all offering the same quality and value. With vet-trained pet-care consultants in the stores that provide friendly, professional advice on pet care. The uniquely themed “The Pet Safari” stores across the region brings products and services together creating a oneof-a-kind shopping experience for you and your pet.
With a key focus on automation, the overall productivity within Pet Lovers Centre is unparalleled. Their recent move to work with Korber to integrate an intralogistics system to not only double their pallet storage density but also reduce their reliance on manual labour is a key factor to their growth and longevity.
Pet Lovers Centre is also the standard bearer for responsible pet ownership with the goal that you and your pet deserves the most out of life. As such, PLC created a financial aid initiative to help people in Singapore to adopt pets rather than buy new ones. In 2009, the Pet Lovers Foundation was also formed to serve Pets, People and out Planet.
