Rejuvenating The Funeral Industry

P | WHAT DO YOU HOPE YOUR BUSINESS COULD ACHIEVE IN THE PET CREMATION INDUSTRY? YL |

We aspire to broaden our services and products to reach a wider audience, promoting accessibility and ushering in a positive shift in how pets are treated, as well as enhancing the mental well-being of the living. Our hope is that this process gains widespread adoption and sets the stage for advancements in human aftercare in the near future in Singapore.

P | WHAT ARE YOUR FUTURE PLANS TO EXPAND ON THIS TECHNOLOGY? YL |

We are in the midst of developing this process further to make the process more efficient, and also repurposing the used water produced into a form of fertiliser to be returned to the ecosystem. For now the "used water" has to be treated at a licensed NEA treatment facility.

Once this is achieved we definitely will be able to make it accessible to the wider community. Allowing us to price aqua cremation even more competitively alongside flame-based cremations, offering people a superior benefit and option without the need for a premium cost to contribute to the betterment of the world. This can only be achieved if we successfully certify or utilise the "used water" in Singapore.

This is currently top of our agenda, and we are actively seeking any collaboration from organisations/individuals/agencies to take this process forward to full circularity. This aligns with our commitment to zero waste and the environment. Furthermore, we are exploring opportunities with agricultural industries. We believe such collaboration in this area can bring mutual benefits and contribute to the sustainable utilisation of waste/resources.

P | WHAT ARE YOUR THREE PIECES OF ADVICE TO PET PARENTS IN THE FACE OF DEATH? YL |

A quality-of-life assessment should be conducted by a vet. Regularly assess your pet's quality of life, looking for signs of pain, discomfort, or a decline in overall well-being. Pay attention to their ability to enjoy activities they once loved. Consulting with your veterinarian can help you make informed decisions about your pet's end-of-life care.

Cherish every moment, as our pets are only with us for a short period. Don't take time for granted. Seize any opportunity to take your pet out, giving them a chance to experience life to the fullest, just as they do for us. As your pet approaches the end of their life, focus on creating meaningful and comfortable moments. Spend quality time engaging in activities your pet enjoys. Capture memories through photographs at your pet’s favourite place. Consider creating a peaceful and comfortable environment, allowing your pet to feel surrounded by love and care.

Understand that when it comes to the death of a pet, there will be people to support you.

All funeral and cremation arrangements are provided for families from start to end, allowing you to truly focus on what matters and be present. The process is not going to be easy. It is entirely normal to feel the loss in the way one does. Don't take it too hard on yourself, as you are doing what you can within your means to provide the best for your pets.
