RE-IMAGINED BRILLIANCE
Feast your eyes on The Macallan’s new packaging design, reinterpreted to better house the extraordinary core range within A beautiful beverage deserves an equally beautiful bottle, which is why The Macallan unveiled a bold new look across its range of single malt whiskies. The new bottle design for the core range of whiskies feature a broad-shouldered bottle, as well as a distinct chevron cut that tapers towards the neck, which takes inspiration from The Macallan Rare Cask packaging. As a result, you get a sleek and uniform look that ranks high in the aesthetics department. Glen Gribbon, Marketing Director at The Macallan, revealed more about this reimagination and said, “With this bold new design we want to do justice to the extraordinary whisky inside the bottle, which, of course, is what we at The Macallan and every whisky fan worldwide really cares about. We think the new bottle looks as good in a worldclass bar as it does on a table at home being shared with friends.” To ensure top quality, Mr. Gribbons also shared the importance of maintaining quality and protecting consumers, which is why the company invested greatly in developing antirefill and anti-counterfeit technology.
Liquid Gold Within
Aside from the new bottle, the Fine Oak Range, which was launched in 2004 and matured using ex-bourbon casks, as well as American and European Sherry-seasoned casks, will be renamed Triple Cask Matured. As a result, this renaming exercise brings it in line with Sherry Oak and Double Cask.
