While still mostly closed off to the world, Bhutan doesn’t hesitate to open up to you once you’re there
Technology is the unseen hand that is making modern travel more efficient, and therefore more enjoyable. In fact, the more invisible this hand is, the more likely we are to delight in this pursuit. From booking a flight to buying a room upgrade and bypassing a counter check-in, there is much to say about how AI, algorithm, blockchain, IoT, biometry, or any combination of these has made travel worthwhile. With just the mobile phone, nearly everything we need to prepare for a journey can be done. But let’s not forget that technology is a tool that ultimately works in the hands of humans. Take customer feedback for example, and how it is being used to create better service. In the future, we can expect more amazing developments that may just turn getting ready for a trip a joy in itself.
