TIME TO REDISCOVER TRAPIZZA

Trapizza reopens with a brand new look, exciting concepts, and delicious offerings

-

After a six-month transformation, Trapizza, an Italian eatery on Siloso Beach that’s a mere five-minute walk away from Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa, has finally reopened to welcome back both new and old fans. With its new look and refreshed menu, family, friends, and foodies can look forward to a revitalized dining experience.

THE TRAPIZZA WE ALL LOVE – AND THEN SOME

For more than a decade, Trapizza has been the goto place for families, island visitors, and resort guests looking for the magical combination of delicious Italian food and relaxing seaside vibes. Following its recent transformation, the perennial favorite now boasts a new look inspired by Palm Springs architecture, with cacti landscaping, swaying palm trees, and rustic furniture.

Following the revamp, the eatery now features an airconditioned private dining room that accommodates up to 16 guests, which is perfect for intimate, private gatherings. The 214-seat dining outlet also includes the main dining area under a canopy, outdoor seating on the sand, and the casual bar counter section. For those pressed for time, make a beeline for the eye-catching kombi that houses Trapizza’s new Grab n’ Go concept – the perfect option for beachgoers looking for a quick bite. Here you can choose between popsicles and assorted beverages, desserts, salads, and paninis. Finally, the family-oriented eatery has something for the little ones too. Young diners can look forward to a new water play area, as well as a coloring corner and a play zone with a kitchenette playset, bringing interactive and fun elements to the dining experience.

FROM ITALY TO THE DINING TABLE

Trapizza welcomes a new member to the team: Chef Alessandro Delle Cave from Turin, Italy. Chef Alessandro aims to bring authentic Italian flavors reminiscent of those from his hometown in Northern Italy to the table through his cultural know-how, and fresh, premium ingredients imported from Italy. In addition to well-loved favorites like wood-fired, thin crust pizzas, authentic pastas, and desserts, an assortment of affordable gourmet additions are all waiting to be discovered. Highlights include the Foie Gras Orecchiette, Truffle Pappardelle, Crispy Fried Veal Milanese, and Wagyu Beef Burger. Playful beverage additions are also part of the enhanced menu, where jazzed up versions of classic cocktails are sure to intrigue. Keep an eye out for the Pizzatinis, which incorporate savory pizza flavors and toppings into martinis; Bloody Mary with Skewers, with vegetarian and meat options; and Cake on a Shake, which is a drink and dessert in one, where slices of cake sit atop luscious, creamy milkshakes.
