It’s no secret that Singaporeans love to travel and the numbers don’t lie – they average more than five trips a year, and according to the Mastercard Global Destination Index, global trips from Singapore increased by 35% from 2009 to 2016.

FUELING WANDERLUST

With the recent launch of BOC Elite Miles World Mastercard with air-mile rewards, looking forward to an overseas holiday just got more exciting. Cardholders get 2 miles per S$1 on local spending and 5 miles per S$1 on overseas spending during the launch offer, which is valid until 31 December 2018.

What’s more, consumers will continue to enjoy the highest and most rewarding earn rate after the launch offer on any spend at 1.5 miles for every S$1 local spend and 3 miles for every S$1 spend abroad.

According to Mr. Anson Lim, Head of Card Centre at Bank of China Singapore Branch, “This latest BOC Elite Miles World Mastercard is our first credit card that is specially tailored for the frequent travellers segment. Singaporeans love their travel and we want to ensure that our card makes it easy for them to redeem free air tickets faster and to travel even more frequently.”

MORE THAN JUST MILES

In addition to miles, BOC Elite Miles World Mastercard cardholders can also enjoy complimentary access to over hundreds of Plaza Premium Airport Lounges four times a year, as well as enjoy exclusive access to Mastercard privileges globally. What’s more, cardholders have the option to convert their BOC points to redeem for access to a host of lifestyle rewards.

The BOC Elite Miles World Mastercard is also enabled with Mastercard contactless, allowing cardholders the ease of “tap and go” use, whether to pay for bus, train, or taxi rides, while at the same time, earning BOC points for miles rewards.

With all of these rewards and perks, the reason to carry on with the jetsetting lifestyle just got stronger.
