Over the Top
LOEWE Weaves is a project that brings together the art of weaving with ceramics. In collaboration with seven artists, each of them presents their interpretations of the Chesnut roaster, a handmade clay pot from Galicia punched with multiple holes. The finished pieces were displayed and auctioned at Sotheby’s. Parallel to this project, LOEWE launches a line of accessories that pushes the bounds of creativity; their iconic balloon bag is one such medium of experimentation that is embellished with flamboyant materials and textures. loewe.com
Peak Elegance
In a special collaboration between the two Italian brands, Poltrona Frau releases a collection of furniture dressed in the fine fabrics of Loro Piana Interiors. The furniture features Ladakh cashmere, Altai wool, and the brand’s very own Pecora Nera fabric, which is obtained from naturally processed sheep fiber. In a landmark collaboration, Rolls-Royce and Hermes presents a bespoke Phantom Oribe commissioned by Japanese entrepreneur Yusaku Maezawa. The design incorporates the finest craftsmanship. The It Car
The Land Rover Defender has earned the title of World Car Design of the Year in 2021 for its technical innovation. The Defender recalls the brands trademark design, modernized by details like the minimal front and rear overhangs and the Alpine light windows in the roof.
