Else, a new boutique luxury hotel is slated to open this July in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Founded by Javier Perez (owner of the Kilo and Grain Traders brands) and Arcc Spaces CEO Justin Chen, Else takes residence in the historic Lee Rubber Building, where the space will be transformed to house an intimate 49 rooms. In accomplishing a tropical urban aesthetic, they’ve partnered with Studio Bikin to design a space that’s fit for a sanctuary in the core of a cosmopolitan city.
