Call of the Ocean

The International Seakeepers Society held its 3rd Asia Awards dinner at One°15 Marina Sentosa Cove. Hosted by Julian and Sandra Chang, the evening recognised Dr Karenne Tun (Seakeeper of Singapore award) and YTL Hotels (The International Seakeepers Society Asia Achievement Award) for their work and commitment to Asia’s marine health through research, education, protection and/ or restoration. Guests were treated to a performance by children from Tasek Jurong Limited, who are beneficiaries of The International Seakeepers Society Educational Outreach programmes. A nonprofit organisation focusing on the health of the world’s oceans and climate, the society’s Asian arm was established in 2016.
