The photographer’s solo exhibition at The Arts Club in London documents Burkina Faso’s growth through black-and-white photographs taken from 1965 to 1985. His portraits of costumed youth and scenes of celebration captured succinctly the zeitgeist of the West African country’s pop culture and nightlife.
