Coming Up Blooms
Held at Origin Grill at Shangri-la Hotel Singapore, the luncheon celebrating the 22nd anniversary of Flower Diamond was painstakingly planned by Belinda Chua and her daughter Sabrina Ho. Both busy with travels and charity work at the time, they spent countless nights perfecting the event, from its programme right down to the decor, which transformed the dining space into a scented room blooming with flowers and candles. Dressed to the Crazy Rich Asians theme, guests came dripping in glittering diamonds, and tucked into Williams River petite filet, pan-seared fish of the day or artichoke risotto while sipping on champagne or white wine. The fun-filled afternoon rang with much laughter – and yielded a lot of selfies and wefies!
