Honouring Teochew Spirit
The Asean Teochew Entrepreneur Award 2018 gala, held at Resorts World Convention Centre, celebrated its Honorary, Prestige and Promising award winners from diverse industries, including precision engineering, real estate, food and beverage, manufacturing and technology. Attended by the guest of honour, Minister for Education Ong Ye Kung, the event, organised by Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan’s Local and International Affairs Committee, gives due recognition to Teochew businesses for their accomplishments and professional excellence, while applauding them for their invaluable contribution to the community. The judging panel was headed by Derek Goh Bak Heng, and comprised prominent business leaders, professionals and government officials from the region.
