The busi­ness world has its fair share of stress, toil, sac­ri­fice and num­ber crunch­ing, and the taste of suc­cess is ex­tra sweet when vi­sion, gump­tion and en­trepreneur­ship are recog­nised and cel­e­brated by one’s peers. And when Techno­preneur Jef­frey Tiong, CEO of Pat­snap, took top hon­ours at the EY En­tre­pre­neur Of The Year (EOY) 2018 Sin­ga­pore awards gala, in ad­di­tion to EY En­tre­pre­neur Of The Year – An­a­lyt­ics In­tel­li­gence, he cred­ited the sup­port of his fam­ily and team for the achieve­ments. The four other re­cip­i­ents of EOY awards were Von Lee Yong Ming of Ex­pand Con­struc­tion; Cheong Chia Chou of Pic­ture­works; Christo­pher Ng of Rigel Tech­nol­ogy; and Lau­rent Ju­nique of Teledi­rect. Stephen Ri­ady, Ex­ec­u­tive Chair­man of OUE Lim­ited, was also pre­sented the EY Asean En­tre­pre­neur­ial Ex­cel­lence award, while multi­gen­er­a­tional ap­parel busi­ness Sing Lun Hold­ings re­ceived the Ey-stan­dard Char­tered Fam­ily Busi­ness Award of Ex­cel­lence. Min­is­ter for Man­power Josephine Teo was the guest of hon­our.
