The business world has its fair share of stress, toil, sacrifice and number crunching, and the taste of success is extra sweet when vision, gumption and entrepreneurship are recognised and celebrated by one’s peers. And when Technopreneur Jeffrey Tiong, CEO of Patsnap, took top honours at the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year (EOY) 2018 Singapore awards gala, in addition to EY Entrepreneur Of The Year – Analytics Intelligence, he credited the support of his family and team for the achievements. The four other recipients of EOY awards were Von Lee Yong Ming of Expand Construction; Cheong Chia Chou of Pictureworks; Christopher Ng of Rigel Technology; and Laurent Junique of Teledirect. Stephen Riady, Executive Chairman of OUE Limited, was also presented the EY Asean Entrepreneurial Excellence award, while multigenerational apparel business Sing Lun Holdings received the Ey-standard Chartered Family Business Award of Excellence. Minister for Manpower Josephine Teo was the guest of honour.
