In The Marriage of Heaven and Hell, William Blake describes how “you never know what is enough unless you know what is more than enough”. Jewellery designer Ippolita Rostagno has translated the British poet’s take on indulgence and sobriety into a collection of plates by esteemed Italian porcelain maker Richard Ginori. Each plate in the collection, christened The Road To Heaven Is Paved With Excess, features a word, such as “Sex”, “Desire” and “Pleasure”, alongside elegant golden motifs and classical patterns.
