SUMMER OF 2008

-

Just when the rains threatened to destroy the vintage, the clouds parted to reveal clear blue skies. As it turned out, the grapes were not only riper, but also more balanced. It took a while to nurture the Dom Perignon Vintage 2008 — it was presented after 2009 — but we took to its considerably dense and complex character quickly. As the opening notes of white flowers, citrus, crushed mint and aniseed settle, your palate will be tickled by its minimalist and energetic character before succumbing to an intriguing smoky appeal.
