Two fashion houses are celebrating Chinese New Year with a special selection in auspicious red
Dior’s emblematic Toile de Jouy motif is now in bright red. Bonus: the Diorelita bracelet, which pays tribute to the Chinese holiday with a medal featuring a hydrangea (a symbol of beauty and gratitude) and the number eight, significant to both the Chinese and Monsieur Christian Dior. Max Mara has released a capsule of special-edition accessories cast in precious and exclusive materials in ruby red. Rounding up the selection, which includes reversible shoppers and lace-up sneakers, is a charm featuring the Maxmaragram, the iconic lettering of the original brand’s logo circa 1950s, and a pig, alluding to the Chinese Year of the Pig.
