BACK TO THE ROOTS A celebration of the natural world, the new Loewe Home Scents collection comprises candles, wax candleholders, home fragrances and rattan diffusers based on the raw essences of a vegetable garden. The selection of scents stem from the house’s Creative Director Jonathan Anderson’s passion for gardens, plants and their unique smells – many of which are reminiscent of his childhood and his different personal journeys. He worked with in-house perfumer Nuria Cruelles to interpret plant essences and express them as their own standalone scent, resulting in 11 different ones: honeysuckle, beetroot, juniper berry, tomato leaves, coriander, liquorice, scent of marijuana, luscious pea, oregano, cypress balls and ivy. The range of candles, diffusers and room sprays are currently retailing at Loewe Paragon, and the full collection will be available at the Casa Loewe at Ion Orchard following its opening later this year. loewe.com
