EDITOR’S LETTER

- Yanni Tan | MANAGING EDITOR yanni.tan@burda.com.sg

We hope you enjoyed the special features in our September issue, and the buzz on our digital and social media platforms celebrating our 20th anniversary last month. Thank you for joining us in the merry-making! As far as our team is concerned, the festivities are not over.

This month, as Singapore returns to a flurry of commerce and activity, we put the spotlight on the visionaries among us who will lead the way into the new future. We are pleased to announce that the Prestige Vanguard Award 2020 goes to young fintech trailblazer, Ng Yi Ming, who graces our cover. Joining him as the cover personality of our Luxe Living 2020 supplement is our Titan Award 2020 recipient, internationally renowned architect and designer Chan Soo Khian. For the full list of winners of our annual awards, check out our website prestigeonline.com/sg.

More unique and driven individuals are featured in our People section this issue – some of them are our favourite style mavens whom we honour in a stunning and candid photo shoot.

For more inspiration and beauty, look no further than our visually arresting spreads and insightful reports. Autumn/winter 2020 bags and accessories, a fashion spread showcasing a modern interpretation of the ’20s flapper style, the latest watch complications, key fine jewellery releases of the year – we have it all.

The excitement extends into our Lifestyle pages, where we bring to you new regular Home & Living and Property columns. In addition, we have great reads on the latest restaurant revamps; two drop-dead gorgeous supercars; wines from the autonomous region of Ningxia in north-central China, which is described as the Middle Kingdom’s answer to Bordeaux; and a jungle adventure in Chiang Rai, which we plan to visit hopefully in the foreseeable future.

Also, don’t forget to peruse our Luxe Living supplement, which highlights the most important and interesting property launches, interiors and furnishing trends, architectural concepts and foreign investments.

May the last quarter of the year shine ever so brightly for you!
