A NEW PERSPECTIVE

Jaeger-lecoultre has commissioned celebrated American artist Michael Murphy to create the fascinating art piece, Spacetime. It further expands the manufacture’s cultural and creative universe by exploring the relationship between the physical dimensions of space and the fourth dimension of time. Murphy has invented a new formula for rendering two-dimensional images as three-dimensional hanging mobiles that require one to view them from various positions to fully appreciate them. The recently launched Reverso Tribute Nonantième was chosen to be represented in the artwork as it expresses time in an entirely different manner on each of its two faces. Following its April debut at Watches and Wonders Shanghai, Spacetime will be exhibited in key cities over the year.
