SWOON OVER THIS
At the summit of the world of haute parfumerie is Henry Jacques Cremona, who set up his maison in 1975 to create bespoke scents for a well-heeled international clientele. From the French maison – that doesn’t just make perfumes but is commissioned by the wealthy to build private fragrance museums and displays – comes the new Renaissance Collection. The latest variation of Henry Jacques’ top-tier Jewellery range, the scents are bottled in hand-blown crystal flacons adorned with delicate gem-studded gold lacework inspired by Renaissance paintings. Designed by creative director Christophe Tollemer and hand-crafted by Parisian goldsmiths, the limited-production flacons are available in five variations and flaunt white or brown diamonds, rubellites or citrines. Specially made for this collection, the scents only feature pure oils extracted from the most precious ingredients, like all the maker’s perfumes. Pictured here in gold with white diamonds is the mesmerising Lune fragrance, which is composed of a blend of rose, verbena and iris oils so pure that the petals’ light pink hue remains.
