art, Murni, as she was called, was born into poverty, suffered sexual abuse as a young girl and battled ovarian cancer. This solo exhibition at Gajah Gallery showcases her unconventional style

and comprises over 50 paintings and sculptures spanning her prolific decade-long career from the mid-1990s until her passing.
