BESPOKE LUXURY
Featuring a state-of-the-art approach to customised timepieces, Bvlgari’s Octo Roma Naturalia line heralds a new chapter in luxury watchmaking. It is the essence of Maestria, a new app by Bvlgari that allows customers to realise watches that reflect their individuality and originality. The range debuts with three 44mm models in black onyx, lapis lazuli and malachite (pictured). Master watchmakers insert a thin slice of stone carved from a single piece into the skeletonised components, which reflect the brilliant ingenuity and aesthetic at the core of the maison’s watchmaking DNA. Designed for tablet devices, Maestria will initially be available for the Octo Roma Naturalia creations in Bvlgari boutiques, High Jewellery and Haute Horlogerie events only. Using it, a sales advisor will lead the client through the steps to create a bespoke timepiece. There are 30 possible variations, with a choice of stone, case material, case setting and engraving on the back. Once the client is satisfied with the design, the order is then sent to the manufacture to begin production. Each Octo Roma Naturalia watch takes two months to produce, and is equipped with the BVL 206, a mechanical manufacture movement featuring a tourbillon.
