MAN OF THE MOMENT
We are photographing and making small talk with Andrew Li, CEO of Zouk Group, in a private room at Sushi Ichizuke. He immediately perks up when the conversation veers off into food and fitness: two of his passions.
When Audrey, our senior art director, asks what he can cook, Andrew rattles off every recipe in his arsenal. Carol, his personal assistant, jokingly rates each of his dishes, and says he does a good fish stew and rack of lamb.
What surprises us most is his guilty pleasure confession: “Every night before I sleep, I’ll have a chocolate croissant or cookie with a warm glass of milk,” he says, eliciting laughter from our team at what seems like a childhood bedtime routine.
He does, however, balance his diet with rigorous exercise and intermittent fasting. “At the end of the day, don’t deprive yourself,” says Audrey, to which Andrew agrees enthusiastically.
