CREATURE COMFORTS
Come home to Brasilia, a family of Minotti sofas and seats characterised by a Mid-century aesthetic that has been reinterpreted to become a future classic. Designed by Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan of studio mk27, Brasilia conveys an elegant architectural look with its volumes, proportions, and juxtaposition of materials. The seating elements are enclosed in a square frame in dark brown stained Santos Palisander wood sourced from responsibly managed forests. They hold even, comfortably padded seats and rest on metal feet with a polished Brandy finish – a prime example of the how Kogan plays around with materials like wood, metal, fabric and leather to evoke warmth and comfort. Ranging from sofas in two sizes, elements with one armrest in various lengths, to an armchair and an ottoman, Brasilia offers many ways to outfit a space and suit its uses.
