FIRST ENCOUNTERS
It may be Jaelle Ang’s first cover shoot, but the founder and CEO of co-working offices The Great Room knows the drill. She arrives at her Afro-asia branch in Robinson Road with manicured nails (something she doesn’t usually have) and shoes of her own, because she’s aware it could be challenging for us to get footwear her size (EU 34.5). We discover why: Her first internship was at the nowdefunct Cleo magazine, where she wrote, illustrated and assisted in fashion editorials. Understanding that no role is too small in a team, she also made it a point to acknowledge every single crew member at the photo shoot. Needless to say, Jaelle left a great impression on all of us.
