It is exactly the kind of casual, intimate spot one hopes to keep secret, with fantastic food, drinks and conviviality worth returning for. The menu offers small and large sharing plates, with a crowd favourite being the White Wine Mussels served in a tomato butter sauce and a side of toasted garlic bread to mop it all up. Cocktails are well concocted, ranging from refreshing options like the Umezu Highball made with umeshu and yuzu juice, as well as punchier ones like the Notanegroni – a unique take on a negroni made with gunpowder gin, umeshu, Campari and umami bitters.
