NOTHING IS FOREVER: RETHINKING SCULPTURE IN SINGAPORE
The first major survey on sculpture in Singapore in over 30 years, this exhibition at National Gallery Singapore features over 70 works in myriad shapes, sizes and forms as well as archival materials, to challenge everyday perceptions of the art form and prompt audiences to rethink how “sculpture” may be defined. This includes some never-before-exhibited works, including religious sculptures from Bukit Brown Cemetery and impressive large-scale works by prominent local artists, such as contemporary multimedia artist Tang Da Wu and pioneer sculptor Yeo Hwee Bin. nationalgallery.sg
